    Description

    As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II at Promedica, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results to support patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine and complex analytical procedures, recognizing deviations and providing interpretation following established standards and practices.
    • Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, complying with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.

    Fundamental Requirements

    • Educational background: Doctoral, Master's or Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
    • Certification: American Society of Pathology (ASCP) MLS certification required within one year of hire.
