    POSITION SUMMARY:
    We're looking for a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer to join our team to manage the development and implementation of capital projects in support of facility and business unit objectives

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:


    Coordination of all phases of capital projects from ideation, strategy, business justification to installation & start-up: including business case development, evaluation/selection of technical engineering solutions, construction management, start-up, and commissioningAssuring engagement and alignment from required project stakeholders and team members for all projects, including internal & outside resources such as engineering partners, OEM's and contractorsProviding leadership and overall project responsibility for major projects, including oversight of all personnel, internal & external engineers, as well as OEM's & construction managementEngineering input on new products or processes as related to commercial business development.

    Investigation of new processes and equipment, applicability of existing and/or new processes, packaging, or product capital needs.

    Provide estimates of total capital cost, timing, and related commercialization informationYou will be expected to deliver:
    Flawless execution of many small projects or multiple major projects, with responsibility for managing budget, schedule, and technical performanceTotal general management of procurement processes, including writing specifications, selection of equipment and materials of construction, and soliciting vendor/contractor bidsAssurance that construction and installation of facilities and equipment is in conformance with specifications and drawingsCross-functional Engineering consultation with other functions (R&D, Quality, plant management) in improvement efforts for product quality, cost improvements, and conducting testing and research

    LL NEED:
    Bachelor's Degree preferred, Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical) is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves competence may be considered5+ years' experience with execution of complex and difficult engineering projects, studies, investigations, and strategies from concept through all ensuing stages to completion & implementation (or commissioning)

    Food and Beverage manufacturing experience preferredCapital project development and execution, employee and plant safety, and regulatory requirementsLean expertise (quick changeover, process capability, TPM, capacity analysis) and maintenance management experience preferredMS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and presentation material developmentAbility to travel approximately 20%What You'll Enjoy:
