    Description
    Muskegon Surgical Associates is recruiting for a full-time Patient Coordinator. This position will be located at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

    Muskegon Surgical Associates, PC has been providing surgical care to West Michigan since 1972.

    We are an independently owned multi-specialty practice consisting of 13 surgeons and approximately 100 employees, and two locations in Muskegon.

    In early Summer 2024 we are also opening a new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

    Customer Satisfaction:

    Provide exceptional and personalized customer service to all stakeholders by welcoming them into the facility with a warm smile and eye contact.

    Answer all incoming calls with professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy. Establish a friendly rapport with clients and potential clients. Ensure quality and consistency of the customer experience by soliciting customer feedback. Ensure negative feedback is met with empathy and a resolution. Escalate sensitive situations directly to the Nursing Manager or Director of Ambulatory Surgical Services. Accurately perform patient check-in and check-out duties.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The candidate must be able to multi-task, be organized, and keep records accurately.
    Provide top-notch, personable customer service.
    Perform patient check in/out.

    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    High School Diploma or equivalent.
    Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Administrative Assistant degree (preferred).
    Minimum 2 years of clerical experience required.
