    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at a healthcare facility in Conyers, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Medical Physics and be board-certified in therapeutic radiological physics or ABR part 2 completed.

    This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, including Varian iX linac, Varian Gammamed HDR afterloader, and GE Lightspeed CT. You will utilize Aria (v16) and Eclipse AAA (v16.1) across practice sites and specialize in HDR, SBRT, SRS, and large prostate seed implant programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel concerning aspects of patient care and treatment
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
    • Develop and implement QA procedures using IBA Blue Phantom II, Mapchecks, Daily QA3s, IC Profilers, Mobius 3D, Clearcheck, and Mobius FX for IMRT/VMAT QA

    Requirements:

    • Master's or PhD in Medical Physics
    • ABR certification or eligible
    • At least 1 year of experience in radiation oncology
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively to a group via phone or face-to-face
    • Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills

    Estimated Salary Range:

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
