- Assisting the SLP in evaluating and assessing students' speech and language abilities.
- Implementing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions designed by the SLP.
- Conducting therapy sessions with students both individually and in small groups.
- Monitoring and recording students' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participating in team meetings, IEP conferences, and school-related events as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure as an SLPA
- Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the educational team, students, and parents
- Passion for helping students achieve their munication and language goals
