    We have an exciting opportunity open for a Data Collection Driver in El Dorado, AR.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position drives advanced mobile leak detection equipment through assigned areas to collect methane emissions data that is utilized by field technicians and the company's Distribution Integrity Management group. Identifies and works with the Supervisor of Data Collection, the Manager of Advanced Leak Detections, and analyst on issues that are found in the field.

    ***This position requires driving a data collection vehicle at night, 8:00PM to 6:00AM. Schedule is subject to change. ***

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Measures methane emissions by operating advanced mobile leak detection equipment predominantly at night.
    • Accurately enters external data collection parameters to ensure equipment utilizes correct algorithms for calculations.
    • Verifies proper equipment function and documents data collection drives to assure system safety and reliability.
    • Plans daily route using maps and existing drive data to ensure effective operation of the Data Collection technology and maximum field-of-view coverage.
    • Participates in the continuous improvement of data collection technologies and methods.
    • Observes, notes and reports irregularities of driving routes, data collection equipment, and vehicle, to ensure supervision is aware of any potential problems.
    • Responds to our internal and external customers' requests, questions, and concerns in a manner that meets customer expectations.
    • Observes, documents, and communicates gas leaks or malfunctioning of equipment and other hazardous conditions to ensure customer and employee safety and compliance with company policy.
    • Participates in training and cross training to increase job knowledge and competency.
    • Identifies equipment issues that need to be addressed.
    • Able to maintain a valid Driver's License.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Requires a high school diploma.
    • Requires 0-2 years of utility maintenance operations or equivalent experience.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

    • Team player mindset.
    • Able to meet and maintain performance and attendance criteria for the job.
    • Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of the policies, practices, procedures, and business processes supporting system leakage surveys.
    • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of leak survey cycles, segments, and routes.
    • Use mainframe software programs such as FSM (Field Service Management)
    • Demonstrate ability to operate a personal computer, including working knowledge of word processing software.
    • Understand and evaluate software, hardware, and other technology.
    • Able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of a variety of tools.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers on the routes in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Provide and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
    • Able to demonstrate respect for all individuals, adhere to the Company's values and business practices and do both consistently.
    • Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company's Ethics and Compliance Code of Conduct, and other Company policies and procedures and do so consistently, take all required training courses and do so timely.
