Advantest Test Solutions Inc is seeking a Thermal Systems Engineer to join our team in Lake Forest CA ATS is a leading provider of massively parallel electronic test systems including System Level Test SLT burn-in and semiconductor/module testing This individual will perform complex thermal and mechanical engineering functions related to the design testing and evaluation of thermal systems for electronic systems including semiconductors photonics and embedded devices Responsibilities include testing new modified designs developing prototypes resolving field issues collaborating with the field team Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations related to thermal design performance Work with procurement manufacturing quality assurance technical support teams establish specifications assist vendor supplier selection parts materials assemblies Provide hands-on support during product installation commissioning customer sites guidance field service team Identify risk areas opportunities optimization Act technical point contact customers select issues Conduct hands-on evaluation prototype sub-assembly builds thorough performance assessments Perform additional duties required
