- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hematology laboratory.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of laboratory staff, including hematotechnologists and technicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing and analysis of hematological samples.
- Monitor quality control measures and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow and patient care.
- Train and mentor laboratory staff on new techniques and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in a hematology laboratory, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hematological testing methods and instrumentation.
