    The Workday Functional Analyst II plays a key role in guiding the continued design, maintenance, and support of their functional areas.

    The functional analyst collaborates closely with the human resources, recruiting and information technology teams. They are the technical subject matter expert and assist with improving business processes and implementing new features.

    The Workday Functional Analyst II is also the Tier 3 support resource responsible for educating end-users, supporting case management, and responding to time-sensitive inquiries in their area.

    Positions that Report to you:

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    :

    Serve as the HRIS partner supporting their workstreams in Workday.
    Provide consultation to human resource and recruiting team members, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
    Has understanding of the Workday system and in depth knowledge of their assigned workstream(s).
    Works with department leaders to determine enhancements and improvements.
    Designs, tests and implements new functionality and business processes for the system.
    Strives to drive system enhancements that will increase employee experience and adoption of the system.
    Evaluates releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday and improve business functions.
    Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events
    Maintain master data values in Workday (ex:

    Job Posting Locations, Onboarding Documents) Locations)
    Building various reports and analytics in Workday
    Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 3 issues, investigating and resolving Workday issues, unexpected results, or process gaps
    Provide input and knowledge sharing with the Director of HRIS, HRIS Manager, Workday Team Members, and other stakeholders as appropriate
    Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
    Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
    Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Participates in off-hours on-call rotation.
    Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

    Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
    Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR clients, cross-functional colleagues and IT
    Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess needs

    Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
    Workday HCM experience of 3-5 years
    HR functional and system experience preferred.
    Physical Requirements:

    Visual requirements include:

    ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
    Must be physically able to perform sedentary work:

    occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
    Must be able to perform the following physical activities:

    stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
    Working Conditions
    The duties for this position are normally conducted in an office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
