    Description
    Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    Brazosport ISD (Clute, TX) is seeking a superhero Occupational Therapist (or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with experience) to join our amazing team and make a real difference in the lives of students.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of two months experience in occupational therapy
    • Experience working with school-age children
    • COTA certification preferred, but we will consider applicants with relevant experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct screenings to identify students in need of occupational therapy services
    • Collaborate with occupational therapist to set and revise patient goals
    • Provide instruction to teachers, staff, and parents on adaptive equipment and therapy integration
    • Engage with students to monitor progress and achievement of goals
    • Communicate effectively with parents regarding individual student needs
    • Attend planning meetings and participate in ARD Committee meetings as directed
