LER TechForce is looking for a Software Engineer with hardware experience.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to be a part of an OEM engineering team out of Savannah, GA focused on developing a software-based vehicle in a market segment historically not employing this level of technology.

The position requires working with health monitoring devices communicating with ECU's, DC battery and power management technology, smart solar panel technology, CAN databus using SAE J1939, and the developing technology on all-electric powered smart trailers of object detection.

Candidates should be self-motivated and excel working in an R&D lab setting especially with hands-on experience working with electronics hardware.

Individuals with experience working in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry with knowledge of powertrains and wired communication protocols in automotive provide an excellent background for this position.
