    Job Summary:
    The CT Technologist performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging. The role requires adherence to radiation safety guidelines and department policies while providing quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques
    Conduct daily quality control calibration checks on equipment
    Follow radiation safety guidelines in compliance with ALARA principles
    Inject patients as per physician orders following prescribed protocols
    Maintain proper documentation, logs, and regulatory compliance records
    Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests
    Maintain and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation
    Order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses as required
    Assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after procedures

    Required Experience:
    Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience

    Education & Licensing Requirements:
    Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
    New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T)
    ARRT Certification in Radiography
    Current ARRT CT Certification
    BLS Certification
