Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Supervisor the cafeteria cashier is responsible for the accurate operation of the cash register systems and for serving customers in an efficient manner while maintaining a professional rapport.

The cashier may be cross-trained to prepare and serve regular and modified diets as indicated for all ages of the population, pediatric to geriatric.

The cashier position adheres to all federal, state and local guidelines governing safe food handling and preparation.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Experience:
One or more years experience is preferred
