We are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Waltham, Massachusetts.

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining corporate compliance, overseeing licensing processes, and supporting various legal operations.

Responsibilities:

Establish and dissolve corporate entities as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Update and maintain entity records, including minutes, annual reports, and corporate files.
Obtain and renew operational licenses and permits for the company and its senior living communities.
Respond promptly to inquiries from corporate departments and field teams regarding legal and licensing matters.
Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents to support corporate operations.
Manage corporate compliance processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve legal or procedural challenges.
Support civil litigation efforts, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
Utilize case management software to organize and track legal activities and documentation.
Participate in special projects related to corporate governance and licensing.
Proven experience in corporate paralegal work, particularly in compliance and licensing.
Strong knowledge of discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes.
Familiarity with case management software and tools.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and legal documentation.
Knowledge of corporate governance and operational licensing requirements.
Prior experience in litigation support is a plus.
