    Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Care:
    Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to inpatients. Manage a patient load of 15-18 patients per shift, focusing on diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology. Collaborate with advanced practice clinicians and specialized cardiology teams, including EP and interventional cardiology, to deliver high-quality care.


    Coverage:
    Work Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with some night call duties. Cover 2-3 weekends over the assignment period (Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM). Engage in both direct patient care and consultative services as needed.


    Practice Details:

    Support Staff:
    Supported by an experienced team including advanced practice clinicians, EP, and interventional cardiology


    EMR System:
    Experience with Epic is preferred, but training will be provided if necessary


    Board Certification:
    Must be board certified in Internal Medicine with a specialty in Cardiology


    Licensure:
    Must hold or be willing to obtain a Washington medical license or qualify through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)


    Certification Requirements:
    Board Certification in Internal Medicine
    • Cardiology is required.
    BLS, ACLS, and other certifications are not required for this position.


    Practice Setting:
    The role is exclusively inpatient with no outpatient duties required. No admissions are required, but hospital privileges must be obtained.
