    Job Description

    Key contributor to understanding process effects on diverse materials in high-volume electronics manufacturing through analysis conducted in Quality Assurance and Reliability Analytical Lab.

    Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering team to identify failure mechanisms, issue corrective actions, and provide recommendations.
    Establishes and maintains laboratory database, mentors engineers and technicians on analytical tools usage, and interprets data.
    Prepares technical reports and delivers presentations to peers, management, customers, and suppliers.
    Manages lab personnel and resources to accommodate priorities and ensure timely results delivery.
    Dispositions all analytical lab work requests and reviews results.
    Addresses analysis issues in close collaboration with lab personnel.
    Coordinates and provides lab staff training.
    Ensures operational readiness of lab equipment and fulfills calibration requirements.
    Enforces lab safety protocols.

    The Successful Applicant
    The successful applicant will have their B.S./M.S./Ph.
    D.

    in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or equivalent and a strong background in analytical and sample preparation techniques (SEM/EDXRFS, FTIR, TGA, DSC, microscopy, surface analysis, decapsulation), laboratory safety, and procedures.

    5-10+ years of experience working with electronics
    Strong leadership, analytical skills, and knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and techniques required
    Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams essential for achieving departmental goals and supporting product development initiatives
    Working knowledge of ISO 9001
    Strong organizational skills and analytical abilities
    Previous leadership experience highly desirable
    Strong computer skills and communication skills
