Review finished products for quality defects
Perform all DON testing (mycotoxin testing)
Appearance checks on products
Sample preparation (grinding) to be prepped for additional testing such as ash, protein, moisture.
Weekly scale calibration
Environmental Monitoring Swabbing (EMP)
Run ELISA testing methodology
Documentation of results & lab notes in excel
Working on additional small projects that are assigned
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or other related field.
Previous industry experience working in a quality or food science related position preferred.
