SPECIFIC
Proactively improve safety in the plant to achieve the plant goal of 0 accidents
Facilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetings
Champion timely resolution of all safety concerns and/or near misses
Work with maintenance to ensure equipment has proper PM and is safe to operate
Enforce area and plant safety procedures
Work closely with quality area to create and maintain systems that ensure quality products
Support teammates in their efforts to consistently exceed customer expectations
Communicate potential quality concerns and maintain customer and TS requirements
Enforce area and plant quality procedures, and monitor and track quality activities for the production area
Coordinate and oversee rotation of production activities in the area to ensure line efficiency and customers' needs are met
Monitor standardized work is being followed
Plan changeovers to minimize disruption of production
Actively encourage participation in the idea program by effectively resolving and implementing teammates' ideas
Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team
Lead efforts to reduce cost and improve efficiency to meet planned/plant objectives
Conduct training for teammates
Gather information and auditing of daily reports
Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

Academic and Experience
Two years of post-high school education preferred
A combination of education and manufacturing experience required

Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem-solving, or other applied leadership experience.

2-4 years of leadership experience required
