    Job Summary:

    We're looking for an RN-Critical Care Clinical Educator to join our team In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery. You'll collaborate with our leadership team to provide top-notch educational support to our staff, patients, and families. From organizing training sessions to implementing quality improvement initiatives, you'll be at the forefront of driving positive change.

    Essential Competencies:

    • Reports to the Director of Critical Care Services.
    • Identifies staff educational needs and facilitates growth opportunities.
    • Organizes annual updates and skills training for staff.
    • Establishes processes for assessing and developing healthcare staff.
    • Demonstrates commitment to organizational values and mission.
    • Communicates effectively with stakeholders.
    • Maintains clinical proficiency and expertise.
    • Upholds professionalism and teamwork.
    • Participates in orientation, education, and quality improvement activities.
    • Contributes to curriculum development and policy formulation.
    • Facilitates patient education and problem-solving.
    • Coordinates relevant learning programs.
    • Supports career development and ensures a safe environment.

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • Ability to provide learning experiences in both verbal and written formats is required.
    • National certification in Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) could be in progress.
    • May require: AHA Instructor status in one discipline
    • BLS and ACLS.
    • Expertise/experience in hospital nursing practice highly desired.
    • Possess basic computer skills.
    • BSN and MSN required and previous educator experience preferred
    • 5 years recent critical care experience required for those new to the educator role.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
    • Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's in Nursing preferred.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
