- conduct routine maintenance of digital content such as collection lists, website accuracy and digital catalog additions.
- assist in updates for patron PCs.
- run monthly statistics, evaluate accuracy, and insert into necessary data sheets.
- update and monitor gaming system settings.
- understand the importance of documentation and organization.
- show an aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues while remaining calm and accessible.

The Technology Center's Support Assistant position at Salina Public Library provides high-quality, friendly and professional services. Answering a wide variety of questions, assisting patrons with the public computers, and general support for the library as a whole are expected from this position. The Technology Center Assistant is the first point of contact for the library's Technology Center and helps guide patrons in the right direction in regards to Technology and Library resources. In addition, this position will conduct recurring duties to ensure library digital resources and equipment are up to date. To be a part of our library team, a positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to work well with everyone is required.
Reports To: Head of Technology
Hours/Schedule: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Regular weekly schedule may be adjusted to compensate for working a weekend. Schedules are adjusted as needed for the Library. Above is an anticipated schedule. This is subject to change based upon service levels.
Starting Pay: $15.68 an hour; $32,614.40 annually
Full Pay Range: $ /hourly; $32, $41,600.00/annually
