A well-established organization based in Homewood, AL, is seeking a dedicated

Accounting Manager

to join their team.

With a focus on continual growth and excellence in service, they are committed to providing top-notch products and services to their valued customers.

Job Description:
Lead the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage fixed asset maintenance activities to support financial operations and reporting requirements.
Record, maintain, and reconcile financial transactions to uphold accounting integrity.
Prepare and file tax returns, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors by assisting in the preparation of documentation and providing necessary support.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation management.
