Job description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate line cook to join our culinary team at III Palms, a premier fine dining establishment known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will bring a refined palate, meticulous attention to detail, and extensive experience working in high-end kitchens. This role demands professionalism, creativity, and a deep understanding of classical and contemporary cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-level food preparation and presentation in accordance with the restaurant's standards.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure consistency and excellence in all dishes.
  • Maintain strict standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in all kitchen operations.
  • Manage inventory efficiently and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
  • Uphold portion control and minimize waste while maintaining the highest quality.
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal updates, and tasting sessions.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
  • Remain calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and food safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining kitchen.
  • Exceptional knife skills and mastery of a variety of cooking methods (sautéing, grilling, roasting, braising, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of plating aesthetics and food presentation.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • High level of personal hygiene and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and dedication to continuous improvement.
