    Software Engineer - Angular at Encore Technologies in Cincinnati, OH


    Overview:

    • We are looking for an experienced Angular developer to join our team on a contract basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working closely with a team of developers, designers, and project managers, you will deliver top-notch solutions.
    • Being part of an agile squad, you will implement new features and capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Adhering to set standards and contributing to continuous improvement, you will share ideas openly and ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Accountable for risk, you will follow policies and procedures diligently and always prioritize customers and colleagues, delivering excellent customer service while staying within acceptable risk boundaries.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers for seamless integration
    • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
    • Document and share technical knowledge on agile squads
    • Participate in developer communities of practice
    • Stay updated on emerging web development technologies
    • Work closely with various team members to ensure timely project delivery
    • Research and resolve customer issues
    • Handle other assigned duties

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent with 2-3 years of software development experience
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Programming languages: TypeScript/HTML/CSS
    • Familiarity with testing tools such as Karma, Jasmine, Jest, or Cypress
    • Experience in Angular web development framework (version 10+)
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge of accessibility best practices
    • Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team

    Experience with any of the following is a plus:

    • Gradle
    • Java (8 or above)
    • Spring Framework
    • Spring Boot
    • Microservice design principles
    • Experience with OAuth-based authentication and authorization
    • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
