This growth has created a need for an additional Claims Adjuster I on our team.

    Who is a Claims Adjuster I?

    Claims Adjuster I are our front line in communication, working directly with our clients and customers on a daily basis. One of CareGard's Values is to wildly exceed clients' expectations and this value is exemplified in our Adjusters. The ideal Ancillary Claims Adjuster will provide high quality customer service through various forms of contact. Ancillary Claims Adjusters are responsible for adjudicating ancillary claims (tire, etch, battery, windshield, etc) and answering questions about claims status and contract coverage for customers, repair facilities, and coworkers. This position is perfect for those looking to start their career as an adjuster.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Understand Ancillary policies in order to adjudicate claims
    • Verification of submitted claim requests to ensure they comply with terms of contract coverage
    • Process verified claims in online portal including documenting all communications
    • Work directly with repair facilities providing payment on approved claims
    • Answer internal/external claim and coverage inquiries via phone, email, mail, and fax communications
    • Work with other adjusters and other departments to ensure accuracy & timely customer service
    • Timely and accurate record keeping including data entry, analysis and storage of incoming documents, spreadsheet management, and tracking of needed follow up communications.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent Customer Service skills
    • Career minded.
    • Values continued growth.
    • Bilingual - Spanish/English (preferred)
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook products.
    • Data Entry (accuracy a must).
    • Clearly communicates information to callers and accurately obtains all required information.
    • Reliability and dependability are a must in this position
    • Work onsite Monday - Friday (Grapevine, TX)

    Hourly rate: $15.50 with opportunity for advancement
