Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparing lectures and laboratory exercises;
Submitting textbook and course syllabus; preparing and grading quizzes and exams;
Entering information in Starfish reporting and grade submission;
Recruiting and advising students;
Attending faculty meetings and other duties as assigned.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Educational:
The successful candidate must have achieved a graduate degree in the Biological Sciences/ Microbiology/Immunology or Developmental Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University with relevant teaching experiences as the instructor of record.
The applicant should be experienced with student-centered and inquiry-based approaches to teaching science.
Other Preferences for Consideration
Preference will be given to candidates with a Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Immunology or Developmental Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology.
