Job summary
This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities,and common areas of the property meet the Company's standards for cleanliness,
appearance, safety,and overall functionality.
- Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests
for service as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing
The source or cause of the defect or problem and making repairs in accordance with established policies procedures safety standards code requirements. - Fulfills all responsibilities including but not limited to completing make-ready process preparing vacant apartment homes for leasing new move-ins by completing pre-move-out inspection creating punch list of maintenance work needed scheduling vendors contractors as needed obtaining needed supplies materials completing all maintenance tasks inspecting completed work following procedures accessing obtaining materials supplies equipment tools other items from properties maintenance department tracking inventory used returning unused items established location notifying supervisor re-ordering needs documenting paperwork timely accurate complete fashion ensuring service requests appropriately documented tracked performing general cleaning pressure-washing breezeways pool areas painting curbs signage assisting cost-cutting expense control programs fixing replacing parts possible not wasteful materials supplies practicing correct use tools equipment complying Greystars safety risk-management policies attending participating routine safety meetings required training OSHA laws requirements reporting accidents incidents promptly accurately periodically inspecting performed contractors vendors services verifying quality scope specifications required.
