Role Overview:

Outside Sales Engineer - Territory: Gulf Coast Region (Texas & Louisiana)

The Outside Sales Engineer works closely with LNG clients in the region, providing engineered solutions to meet their needs and drive revenue generation. They also contribute to marketing, market planning, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and increases sales revenue to meet targets.
• Pursues sales opportunities through various channels for new and existing customers.
• Remains up-to-date on products and services to better assist customers.
• Identifies and capitalizes on new product opportunities.
• Explores additional sales with existing customers.
• Monitors market trends and adjusts strategies accordingly.
• Responds promptly to customer inquiries and issues.
• Handles forecasting and outage management.
• Utilizes strategic selling tools and resources for opportunity strategies.

Critical Competencies for Success:

• 8-10 years of successful sales experience.
• Control valve experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the LNG industry is advantageous.
• Experience in flow control sales preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Software/CRM tools.
• Familiarity with Miller Heiman methodology is a plus.

Work Environment:

The role involves significant travel and remote work.

• Travel is required 50%-75% of the time.
• Ability to drive long distances.
• Physical stamina for sitting, walking, and using hands and fingers.
