    We're searching for an experienced Admin to support our Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility team. In this role, you will support the VP of Communications and other senior leaders on the team. When you join us, you will own complex scheduling and project management across various channels. Ideally, you thrive working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where you must balance multiple priorities at once. This opportunity will evolve as our team does and you will be expected to execute and ideate on best practices, operations & processes.
    What you'll do as an Administrative Assistant

    • Coordinate projects between multiple stakeholders & direct reports within the broader Communications organization.
    • Ensure there is effective communication between team members and the VP of Communications, Chief Legal Officer and Chief of Staff.
    • Respond to a wide variety of requests for information and executive action. Analyze needs and problems while determining approach and priority.
    • Own calendars, scheduling, travel (flights, hotel, etc) and expenses for the VP of Communications and occasionally their direct reports.
    • Understand and anticipate the needs of the Communications team by thinking one step ahead to provide senior level support.
    • Assist with companywide event logistics and planning along with local CSR event support in each office.
    • Manage team budget, P.O.'s and vendors to ensure timely payments and accurate tracking.
    • Build rapport across the organization and communicate proactively and build strong relationships with the Executive managers and assistant team across the organization.
    • Consistently strive to improve the DraftKings Communications team processes, thinking critically and creatively about ways to make our department the most impactful it can be through programs, initiatives & coordination.


    What you'll bring

    • At least 3 years of experience in executive or administrative assistance, project management or related fields.
    • Ability to work in the office 2-3 days a week and travel as needed.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Passion for learning and adapting to a constantly changing environment.
    • Ability to work autonomously with strong instincts and a proven desire to take ownership of key processes.
    • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting key business stakeholders with an ability to influence others.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
    • An organized, disciplined, systems-oriented mindset with a thorough approach to all tasks and initiatives.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $56, $84,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
