    Position Overview:

    As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. This position is instrumental in

    facilitating informed decision-making, efficient resource management, and overall financial

    performance. The FP&A Analyst will collaborate closely with a leading provider of FP&A tools and expert solutions to optimize our reporting, budgeting, and forecasting procedures.

    responsibilities:
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning: Collaborating with department heads and management to develop annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts.

    Financial Analysis : Analyzing financial data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.

    Variance Analysis: Investigating and reporting on variances between actual financial results and budget/forecast, providing insights into key drivers.

    Financial Modeling: Building and maintaining complex financial models to support decision- making, hiring approvals, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.

    Monthly Reporting: Preparing and distributing comprehensive monthly financial reports to department heads and executive leadership.

    Cash Forecasting: Developing and maintaining cash forecasting models to predict future cash needs, facilitating effective planning and liquidity management.

    Ad-Hoc Analysis Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and research projects as requested by senior management.

    Cost Management - Assisting in evaluating cost control measures, recommending cost optimization strategies, and ensuring invoices align with the budget before approval for payment.

    Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to gather and validate financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.

    Qualifications:
    • Texas Resident
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics .
    • 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Google Sheets, FP&A software, and ERP systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Solid understanding of key financial concepts and metrics.
    • Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing business requirements.
    • Experience with FP&A tools and/or QuickBooks Online is advantageous. Ability to pass required background checks.
