    Job title: Maintenance Supervisor

    About the Role:

    The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of mobile equipment and fixed assets in a distribution center, while leading a facility maintenance team to perform predictive, preventative, and breakdown repair maintenance tasks safely.

    Main Responsibilities:

    ">
    • Supervise troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic controls
    • Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing training for associates to advance their skillsets in meeting maintenance objectives
    • Ensure spare parts and consumables inventory are maintained as readily available to respond to maintenance needs
    • Lead organization of work force, training, and development to support high volume operational environment
    • Promote team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient, and effective plant/facility operations

    Schedule and Working Conditions:

    The Maintenance Supervisor will work 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime and weekends as needed. They must be able to stand and/or walk continuously during the assigned shift, lift/carry/push/pull up to 100lbs, and work in an environment involving moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.

    Requirements:

    ">
    • Technical degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with high school diploma/GED
    • 5 years in a facility maintenance position, with 2 years in electrical repair
    • 2 years of conveyor maintenance and repair experience
    • 2 years in a maintenance supervisory or lead position

    • Experience in a leadership role with proven abilities in motivating and leading teams towards goals
    • Willingness to take a hands-on approach as a leader, providing daily direction and guidance, and leading team building efforts
