    Description
    Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Estimator for a client in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

    This person will be joining a team of 6 others and will be responsible for managing multiple projects/bids at once throughout the region.

    This role will be 80% in an office and 20% in the field walking job sites.


    The main responsibilities include:
    *Preparing estimate from accurate quantity take-off on project and completing estimate to computer printout

    *Reviewing proposal documents, specifications, drawings, and attending pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate

    *Evaluating areas for potential value engineering cost savings and developing alternative methods and offers

    *Participating in pre-construction interviews and scope review with clients either on site or at client's office

    *Preparing detailed listing of material and equipment items for the estimate and obtain quotes from vendors

    *Creating proposal letters for bid and the ability to participate in successful negotiation of project contracts

    *Completing accurate and timely project Submittals, Change Orders, RFI's, and GC Communication

    *Prioritizing and managing multiple estimating projects simultaneously while meeting deadline requirements

    *Participating in and contributing to project "turnover" meetings, in order to effectively convey scope of work to be executed by Project Managers

    Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
    5+ years of experience in Electrical Estimating or Managing Electrical Construction Projects

    Experience within the Commercial Construction Industry

    Experience with electrical bidding software such as McCormick, (EBM), etc.

    Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, or other construction specific software

    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at once and change priorities as necessary

    Good written and verbal communication skills
