    Description

    Fab Shop Pipe Welder

    Ensuring all work meets productivity standards is key to success in this role. Typical duties include performing welding functions, selecting equipment and planning layout for precision.

    • Arc gouging proficiency required
    • Ability to weld qualified processes without supervision
    • Must have strong mathematical skills and knowledge of blueprint drawings

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in fabrication environment preferred
    The successful candidate will possess the following certifications: GMAW/FCAW - 6G, GTAW - Position - 2G & 5G or 6G, SMAW - Position - 2G 3G or 6G and SAW - Position - Flat. They must also be willing to work frequent overtime.This job requires physical stamina including standing/walking for extended periods, pushing/pulling heavy objects up to 60 pounds , climbing on equipment/trailers with occasional lifting.Knowledge of codes such as ASME/API-650-620 an advantage.The hiring range is $28-$34 per hour depending on qualifications and prior experience.Full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical/dental/vision plans disability life insurance ongoing training opportunity advancement performance incentives.At Matrix we strive for a diverse inclusive workplace encouraging applicants whose experience aligns with listed qualifications.
