Genesis10 is currently seeking a Marketing/Communications - Product Manager - Sr. Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in McLean and Richmond, VA. This is a 6 + month contract position.Responsibilities:
Understand customer expectations; identity developer experience best practices; current gaps & technical constraints; drive requirements and ultimately partner with IT Delivery, Operations, enterprise teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance) and third-party vendors (if relevant) to deliver the optimal developer experienceResponsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metricsPartner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problemsGovern the responsible and efficient application of technology resources by assessing opportunities for reusing existing solutions, clearly defining minimum viable products, and always building with extensibility in mindWork with Product Director to establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources and overcome impedimentsEnsure applications are well managed while optimizing developers' time towards application developmentWork with leaders across the company to find and take advantage of valuable shared services, allowing your team more time to focus on unique, high-value workDelve into microservice and cloud-native architecture to decouple business strategy changes from underlying transaction processing logic, increasing speed to market and reducing riskDrive accelerated continuous discovery process that optimizes on user adoption through outcome orientation and empowermentCollaborate with technology, operations, cyber, compliance, and business partners to coordinate and manage resources and activities to maximize impact and overall return on investment
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience in digital product management
