- Remove damaged glass components using specialized tools and equipment, ensuring the surrounding areas are protected from potential damage.
- Install new automotive glass components according to manufacturer specifications, including windshields, windows, mirrors.
- Apply sealants and adhesives to ensure proper installation and prevent leaks or air gaps.
- Test installed glass components for proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
- Repair minor glass damage, such as chips and cracks, using resin injection techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of services performed, including detailed documentation of repairs and replacements.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal automotive glass technician training program or equivalent 3-year work experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive glass components and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for glass repair and replacement.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of automotive glass components and repair techniques
- 3+ years' experience handling automotive glass repairs.
- Certification as an Automotive Glass Technician (AGT) or similar credential.

Position DescriptionThe Schumacher Automotive Group in West Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Auto Glass Technician Are you a customer service pro? Do you have a vision for delivering state of the art automotive glass replacement services to clients?
The Automotive glass technician will be responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass components, including windshields, windows, and mirrors.
