Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, as the second largest hospital in Georgia, is a 637-bed American College of Surgeons verified level one trauma center. The General Surgery Residency Program graduates 5 chief residents per year and 2 surgical critical care fellows. Atrium Health Navicent is the teaching program for Mercer University School of Medicine.
