Immediately Hiring X-Ray Technologist

Job Type: Manager: Full-time/Hourly

Job Location: Health Care Facility in Manahawkin, NJ

What will you do as an X-Ray Technologist

Basic Function: To perform all aspects of CT imaging for cardiac PET-CT, including patient care, physician interaction, flexibility in work hours, and independently conducting the CT portion of studies meeting high standards. Responsibilities include ensuring proper radiation doses, preparing equipment, assessing patients, obtaining histories, and completing paperwork.

Qualifications:

Required:

• AA Degree or equivalent radiologic technologist program
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Certified Radiologic Technologist
• State Certified Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R), (CT) certificate
• Effective communication skills
• Adaptability to changing circumstances

Preferred:

• Cardiology experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Understanding of CT attenuation in PET-CT studies

License/Certification:
ARRT Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
