- Collaborate with internal and external resources to swiftly address issues.
- Interpret electrical schematics and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot hardware problems with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and touchscreens.
- Apply basic network troubleshooting to identify control networking issues.
- Execute preventive maintenance following approved plans and work orders.
- Provide technical training to others, particularly on electrical subsystems.
- Persistently seek opportunities for process enhancements.
- Support and advise management/engineering on projects as required.
- Assist mechanics as needed.

Our facility in Lansing, IL, specializes in pasteurizing raw eggs to eliminate harmful bacteria, ensuring safer products for the foodservice sector.
Responsibilities:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of electrical subsystems within the production facility.
May qualify for a sign-on bonus.

EDUCATION:
Completion of a one-year certificate program from a college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years with a solid background in industrial electricity within a manufacturing setting (experience in food processing plants is preferred). Familiarity with mechanical systems, welding, and pneumatics is beneficial.
