Our client is looking for a full-stack engineer to join our development team and support capability development for our client's Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) SaaS platform.

This individual will work within our Platform team to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and integrate new capabilities. This includes capabilities such as software components including Frameworks, APIs, Websites, Utilities, Databases, Indexes, and various open-source related tools.

Additionally, this individual will play a critical role in supporting new capability development and will also be responsible for interacting with product managers, end-users, customers, and vendors along with providing technical guidance and assistance to more junior engineers on the team.

Essential Job Functions:
Reviews new datasets, technologies, and services for collection and integration within the existing SaaS environment.
Conducts large data integration, processing, & pipeline design/implementation to support data analysis, statistics, visualization, & reports

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle.

Adheres to internal best practices and coding conventions to write and execute tests for your own code, including creating comprehensive unit tests.

Provides assistance, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Qualifications:
Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required. (US Citizenship)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline isrequired.
Must have

5 years of experience

in software development.

Required Security Clearance:
None.

Experience in identifying and leading new capability development efforts.
Experience with large data integration, processing, and pipeline design/implementation to support data analysis, statistics, visualization, and reports.
Experience with Python, Java, JS, JWT, Spring, Shell, API development, and Linux OS.
Experience with ElasticSearch (or open-source variants) and NoSQL databases.

Strong understanding of and experience with collecting and processing large volumes of data, natural language processing/text analytics, and identifying new open-source capabilities.
