    About Your Next Opportunity:

    VIVE Arts is looking for a Digital Marketing and Community Manager, who will be responsible for developing the strategy on digital marketing and community building, as well as working with the internal team and external agencies to oversee community moderation and campaign execution.

    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited:
    Digital marketing and strategy:
    • Develop and implement a holistic digital marketing strategy for VIVE Arts encompassing website, social media, and community activity in collaboration with the internal VIVE Arts team, external consultants, and agencies.
    • Manage the marketing strategy and associated activity, and work with internal/external production team to create image and video assets for the campaign.
    • Keep up to date on the latest digital marketing, social media, and web3 marketing trends, best practices, and technologies.
    • Engage and collaborate with external agencies on project-specific campaigns and work with the platform team to implement new features on the platform and smart contract.
    Website and social media:
    • Lead on day-to-day management of VIVE Arts website including managing the CMS and social media channels including Instagram, Twitter(X), Facebook, YouTube, Discord, LinkedIn and work with Head of Global Partnerships (overseeing PR for VIVE Arts) and broader HTC and external partners' marketing team to expand our online audience with defined benchmarks for growth.
    • Work with the Head of Global Partnerships and Head of Program on the future development of the VIVE Arts website.
    • Build out a consistent posting schedule based around upcoming projects, community management, and analytics tracking.
    • Work with external agencies, copywriter, and the internal program team to create content and visual assets for the VIVE Arts website and social channels.
    • Coordinate with internal HTC Global teams to promote VIVE Arts' content across their platforms, as well as giving them visibility to our projects' social assets.
    • Manage VIVE Arts' newsletter and email communications.
    Community management:
    • Manage and oversee moderation of VIVE Arts community channels (Discord/Twitter(X)) and work with Head of Global Partnerships to plan a content strategy engagement with VIVE Arts community.
    • Develop and maintain a content schedule across channels.
    • Assist with content creation, proofreading marketing material as required.
    Extra responsibility:
    • Assist program team on project management. Depends on the location of the project and report to Executive Director or Head of Program.
    • Business development on content licensing/distribution, as well as business collaboration with commercial galleries.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities):
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing/social media role, ideally within creative industries/arts and culture, with knowledge of platforms including Twitter(X), Discord, Instagram, YouTube (ideally Magento, Trello, and Zen Desk).
    • Well-versed in both the contemporary art world and immersive technologies, with an interest in creating a bridge between the two.
    • Demonstrable experience of content/assets creation.
    • Good knowledge of popular social networking tools and trends.
    • Good knowledge of website management and use of CMS.
    • Good knowledge of CRM systems, email marketing, and data management.
    • Excellent standard of written/spoken English and Chinese.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently with strong level of organization.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with teams across time zones.
    • Interest in immersive and blockchain technologies, and how these tools are being used in artistic practice.
    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Abilities):
    • Prior experience of project coordination and management.
    • Prior experience of community management and social media content strategy.
    • Knowledge of the latest technologies and techniques used in building and maintaining successful communities across platforms.
    • Knowledge of Adobe Suite and Figma.
    Working Conditions:
    • Primary work location is indoors.
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.

    At the time of posting, HTC's estimated annual base salary for this position is $64,050 - $82,000 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
