Job description
Description- Sets up of equipment for production and ensure standards and specifications are followed.
- Constantly verify all material entering and exiting production to ensure it matches work order and sample provided.
- Performs quality checks for proper material order, barcode clarity and postage and aware of customer specifications.
- Oversees mail helper for proper tray, sort and tag to meet USPS requirements.
- Self-motivated and aware of quality control; Pays close attention to detail
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor/manager.
- Read and understand the job ticket
- Trouble shooting and maintain equipment as needed
- Follows management direction/instructions, able to provide quality feedback, operating suggestions and doesn't require constant oversight
Educational/Training Requirement:
- HS Diploma
Experience:
- 2 years of mailroom/direct mail related experience preferred
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous experience of inkjet, mail inserters and USPS regulations.
·Understanding job instructions and postage related to proper application of customer job specification to aid in quality control/use and application of quality checks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge/familiarity with shop floor data collection methods including labor/material entries and file transfer for mail list transfers to equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
- Hardworking, team player and mechanically inclined
