    Description

    Position Summary: The Compliance Analyst oversees HMDA and Fair Lending monitoring for the corporation's mortgage division. Manages the licensing for our loan officers in NMLS as well as monitors for continuing education for federal and state requirements. Also responsible for assisting in other areas of compliance or quality control as needed.

    Responsibilites:
    • Responsible for reviewing all HMDA reportable loans for accuracy and annual reporting
    • Responsible for reviewing loans for fair lending and summarizing results for management
    • Responsible for loan officer licensing and SAFE act requirements including but not limited to annual education and reporting requirements
    • Responsible for vendor management including maintaining records of all vendor contracts
    • Assist with advertising requests and reviews for compliance with all federal regulations
    • Assist with monitoring all social media for compliance with federal regulations
    • Assist with documentation for ongoing monitoring reviews as well as state and federal audits
    • Cross train for all areas of QC department including disclosure desk and quality control
    • Knowledge of regulations including, but not limited to Reg. B, Reg. X, Reg. Z, TRID, FCRA, SCRA, HMDA, SAFE Act, UDAAP and FDPA
    Qualifications
    • Knowledge of all federal and state regulations
    • Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance.
    • Strong attention to details, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
    • Exemplary customer service skills
    • Self-discipline, an aptitude for making good decisions and works efficiently under deadlines
    • Must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced office high work volume
    • The ability to work both independently and as a team member
    • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a background check
    Education Requirements:
    • Previous experience with regulatory mortgage compliance regulation is required
    • 2-3 years' experience in mortgage compliance preferred
