    Position Purpose

    Under frequent supervision, supports the data reporting needs within Risk Services. Creates, modifies, and runs reports based on organizational and management needs. Coordinates special reporting requests and collaborates with others to provide the requested information. Communicates results with internal data customers representing various levels of the organization.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities
    • Creates, modifies, and maintains reports based on organizational and management needs.
    • Basic understanding of collecting data using SQL and query software.
    • Runs regularly reoccurring monthly and quarterly reports.
    • Provide data retrieval from primarily pre-designed queries and reports.
    • Assists in meeting the reporting needs of internal customers by handling special reporting requests.
    • Collaborates with actuarial team and others that create and own the requested information.
    • Researches data as needed and ensures the accuracy of reports being provided.
    • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
    Education & Experience
    • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field
    • 2+ years of related experience
    • [OR] equivalent level of education and experience
    • Data Analytics certification preferred
    Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies
    • Ability to run a variety of reports using various computer systems.
    • Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills and be sensitive, adaptable, professional, and articulate.
    • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
    • Ability to research simple to moderately complex issues
    • Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic knowledge of query software and SQL in order to collect/manage data.
    • Ability to recognize incorrect data through visual inspection or reconciliation.
    • Experience in pulling insurance data is preferred.
