    Description

    **Description:**

    Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

    Follow established processes, quality and safety standards with continuous improvement initiative of existing and continuous parts.

    Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers.

    Machine parts to specifications.

    Measure, examine, and test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.

    Set up, adjust, and operate machines to perform precision machining operations.

    Monitor the machines during the machining process.

    Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.

    Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.

    Diagnose machine tool malfunctions, determining adjustments or repairs.

    Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.

    Separate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or disposal.

    Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

    Dismantle machines or equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.

    Physical Specifications

    Continuous use of dexterity, manual/hand control and touch of objects

    Regular and continuous use of repetitive motion

    Continually standing for long periods and on hard surfaces

    Intermittent time spending bending or twisting the body

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

    Frequent exposure to various materials

    Visual abilities; close/distant, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

    Intermediate Level
