- Schedules patients with admissions counselors
- Addresses and resolves all payment option questions with help from insurance coordinators
- Tracks and collects all intake documentation
- Updates patient records with all referral and intake paperwork
- Perform all key tasks of a remotely managed central intake function, with a primary focus on converting leads into patients
- Track and manage patient leads.
- Intake patients in a timely, efficient, and customer-focused manner. The key driver is to get patients into the treatment services that they need within 24 hours of outreach to PursueCare
- Work with patients via in-app chatting, email, phone, and text environments.
- Assist patients in using PursueCareRx for all pharmacy needs
- Confirm that all required authorizations and information are secured
- Assist patients in understanding their payment options
- Manage scheduling of initial toxicology testing
- Ensure patient completes registration with Patient Access before scheduling with admissions coordinator
- Refer to partnering organizations for additional services.
- Engage and build relationships with all current partners in the defined territory in alignment with regional leadership
- Raise awareness and educate partner contacts about PursueCare
- Communicate the benefits of PursueCare to Partners and Patients
- Understanding partner needs and offering solutions and support
- Tracking daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, medical assistant, or hospital registration intake specialist required
- Outbound call center or inside sales experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated comfort with technology.
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new patients and partners all day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential patients and partners
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent and thoughtful verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using an EHR/EMR (electronic health record/electronic medical record) preferred, but not required.
