- This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintains a standard of operation excellence in all facets of HR operations.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified candidates.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions.
- Gathers compensation details, PTO tiers, and immigration details to make competitive offers and manages employment covenants.
- Conducts background screenings, reference checks, and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and initiates the pre-boarding process.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, leave requests, internal company changes, contractor statements of work, drafting documents.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, deferring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Stays on top of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Manages internal processes SOP manual and ensures workflow efficiencies.
- Participates in special projects that include but not limited to; company intranet implementation, HRIS implementation, company events, benefit enhancements, and wellness programs
- Conducts routine audits and builds an audit program to ensure 100% compliance.
- Provides leadership and company with reporting and data on retention, turnover, attrition, utilization, and trends.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Ability to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP , aPHR, PHR a plus.
- Experience managing projects and system implementations a plus.
- Professional or Intermediate Level of speaking Spanish a plus
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department.

Job DescriptionThe Human Resource Associate functions as the central point of contact and facilitation for all employee and employment matters. The Human Resource (HR) Associate provides support and governance to the Operations department to ensure Federal, State, and Local compliance, process management and enforces company policies and practices. The HR Associate has the primary responsibility for recruiting and interviewing staff and on-boarding staff and manages the day-to-day responsibilities of benefits, leave, internal changes, contract management, and managing all standard operation procedures.
