LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity in Novato, California.

In this role, you will be

responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining communication with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payments.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.

Verify invoice coding and approvals according to company policies.

Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and correspond with vendors as needed.

Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.

Prepare and perform weekly check runs and ACH payments.

Maintain accurate and organized vendor files and documentation.

Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts payable.

Provide support for audits and internal control reviews.

DESIRED SKILLS & BACKGROUND

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Pay Details:
$32.00 to $35.00 per hour
