JOB SUMMARY
Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) is a multi-subspecialty physician group practice and wholly owned subsidiary of Hamilton Medical Center, Inc., (HMC).
HPG was created as a responsive, scalable and adaptable physician enterprise to meet the long-term community need for medical specialties within the Dalton, Georgia and surrounding communities that for various reasons may not be optimally provided for or sustainable by the independent medical staff.
Such medical services may include without limitation, cardiology, family medicine, internal medicine and others.
The Clinical Laboratory Tech performs routine laboratory testing that aid in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and diseases.
The Clinical Laboratory Technician will practice established standards as defined in collaboration with all clinical staff to ensure that a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered.
QualificationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Associates Degree in Science Medical Laboratory
EXPERIENCE:
Physician office experienced preferred
JOB SKILLS:
Demonstrates the ability to collaboratively work with physicians, hospital staff, patients and clinical and clerical staff of the practice.
Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory techniques, laboratory equipment, and medical terminology. Must be skilled in mathematical computations utilizing standard formulae. Must possess excellent customer service skills;* good written and verbal communication skills.
