Description
JOB SUMMARYThe Ambulatory Clinical Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for the clinical leadership role.
Assumes first line managerial responsibilities related to clinical care, reports directly to the Vice President of Ambulatory Nursing, and works in conjunction related to operations with respective Vice President of Operations and Ambulatory Practice Manager.
Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of care, development of policies and procedures, standards of care and protocols.Assigns, directs and evaluates the work of the health care clinical staff assigned to a specific area in accordance with the clinical policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of Saint Francis Healthcare System.
Provides strong leadership, motivation, staff development, serves as a resource consultant for their clinical specialty, and works to achieve continuity of care within practice setting and coordination of care for targeted patients during and between established patient visits.
Supervises all clinical staff activity in ambulatory clinics such as rooming, clinical documentation, patient education and clinical support activities. Commonly interacts with physicians, patients and other departments with service excellence. Assists with schedules to support clinical operations.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Associates in nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
