UPHS – Marquette is a 222 bed hospital and houses the region's only Level II Trauma Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Position Summary:
Assists with the planning, coordination and administration of general accounting activities of the organization

Reports to:
Assistant Controller

DragEditDeleteDevelops analytical/departmental reports as required or requested. Assists with the development and administration of the organization's annual budget.
DragEditDeleteServes as an interdepartmental liaison. Works with internal and external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.
DragEditDeleteEnsures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldDragEditDeleteRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
DragEditDeleteMinimum Work Experience4 years in business accounting/ finance2 years in healthcare (Preferred)
