Mortgage Funder
Will facilitate boarding of secondary market mortgage loans originated through Plains Commerce Bank's Retail, Wholesale and Correspondent origination channels.
Qualities of the successful candidate include:

• Post-secondary education is preferred. Previous Mortgage industry experience a plus
• Must be a dependable, responsible individual with a professional appearance, be dependable and take pride in their work.
• Attention to detail is a must in this position
• General PC knowledge and familiarity the Internet is required, must be capable of accurate typing, and learning various computer software programs.
• Familiarity with loan documentation requirements is helpful, however; detailed knowledge is not a mandatory prerequisite
• Must enjoy helping customers and fellow employees
• Must be trustworthy and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Must be able to multi-task and work under stress and pressure
• Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally

Responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

• Review loan setup and source materials for accuracy
• Board loans to the bank's servicing platform - currently Precision
• Set up escrow accounts on the bank's servicing platform - currently Precision
• Obtain necessary funding documentation to grant authorization of funding for title companies
• Prepare and process necessary documents to initiate wire transfers for loan funding
• Initiate and record completion of wire transfers for loan funding
• Process mortgage and deposit verifications
• Provide excellent customer service to our Business Partners
• Assist in identifying funding discrepancies and actively pursue solutions
• Must apply a solutions-based approach
• Document imaging and indexing into the PCB imaging software
• Practice branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy
• May perform additional duties as necessary to keep the Bank operating efficiently and effectively

Compensation for positions is based on the specific position and may be paid in the form of an hourly wage, a semi-monthly salary, commissions, or a combination of them. Depending on the specific position, some may be paid solely on commissions or others may include a bonus structure.
